He is a selfish, stupid and very abusive fourteen-year-old, who thinks himself superior to everyone in the house. One day, Jane was finally pushed too far, and spoke to him frankly, calling him a ‘villain’. She tells him exactly what she thinks of him, and is punished by being locked in the ‘Red Room’.
